Each question has a decimal number that the students need to represent by colouring in some 10×10 grids.
For example, to represent the decimal number 1.45, the students could shade the grids as follows:
Obviously, this is only one of many ways that the decimal number could be represented. This provides plenty of opportunities for discussion.
